ABOUT: The 2nd Annual BioFlorida BioTech Expo (“The Expo”) is taking place Thursday, November 12th at State College of Florida in the Medical Technology and Simulation Center at Lakewood Ranch. The event will highlight the region’s business and scientific innovation in the life sciences. The BioFlorida BioTech Expo is the premier event of the Sarasota-Bradenton Chapter of BioFlorida, and facilitates collaboration and networking among life science community leaders. Program details include:

  • A brief Program featuring college leaders and introductions of the new PhD’s in the region
  • More than a dozen scientific posters from academia, industry and research institutes
  • NEW this year, a showcase of regional companies in a BioTech Expo Lightening Round including BioScanR, HeadRehab, HealO Medical, Quasar Bio-Tech and Lakewood-Amedex

Bradenton area and Sarasota County EDC’s are launching the first Health Innovation Week November 9-13 to underscore the importance of the industry to the local economy.
